As much as I adore the sweet, delicate pears and tart, fresh apples of winter, there comes a point in the season when I can't quit wandering off in fantasy land about the delicious, eat-over-the-sink stone organic products for which I'll need to hold up a couple of more months: peaches, plums, and nectarines, and, one of my undisputed top choices, delicate, splendid orange apricots.
Ingredients:
some squeezed orange
1 container plain yogurt, ideally entire milk
7 standard ice 3D shapes
1/2 teaspoon orange blossom water
1 to 2 teaspoons sugar (discretionary)
1 container dried apricots, absorbed bubbling water for 2 hours or room-temperature water medium-term
Directions:
1. Include squeezed orange, yogurt, ice, orange blossom water, and sugar (if utilizing) to a blender. Channel apricots and add to blender. Mix on high until totally smooth, around 30 seconds. The gap between the two glasses and serve right away.
